Experience
In-home, private mathematics tutoring for students of all ages, all levels of mathematics Look around, and you will find dozens of people available for mathematics tutoring. Very few of them will have the experience and background of teaching that I have. I have sixteen years of teaching experience, with jobs ranging from private tutoring, graduate school teaching assistant, and even as a college mathematics professor. I hold a Ph.D. in mathematics from a large university in California. Because of my varied experiences in teaching mathematics, I am uniquely qualified to guide students at all levels -- all high school and college level mathematics. Mathematics does not have to be difficult. By its very nature, there are rules that we can follow that can help us get to the right answer. But there is also a beauty and elegance lurking beneath the surface. In the same way that a person learning to play a musical instrument must learn that music is much more than merely "organized notes" -- mathematics is more than formulas. When we appreciate that beauty and elegance, we can find a dance lurking underneath. Call or email to set up a FREE meeting, where I come to your home to discuss whether private tutoring would work for your math student. I'm confident enough (and reasonable enough) to make this offer as well: after we have our first tutoring session, if you feel that my services aren't right for you for ANY reason, I won't charge you for that first session.
